USAG WISHES ALL MERRY CHRISTMAS & A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR

We bring you official greetings from the national secretariat of the University Students' Association of Ghana (USAG).

Finally, the most celebrated festive season is here once again. As a mother association, we appreciate how germane, indispensable and relevant it is in wishing our beloved constituents a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

May the blessings in the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ (the author and finisher of our faith) ignite shortages to be floodgates, expectations to be realities, inadequacies to be overflows and curses to be blessings.
For we are partakers of the new covenant.

Certainly, the celebration of His birth comes with a lot of chilling, outing and enjoyment, for this reason, we urge you all to be highly circumspect, cautious and over careful of your movements.
For the sake of your GI enormous indispensability to your family, the association and Ghana, please adhere to caution because you are more than needed in the year 2016.

As an association, we invoke the Heavens on behalf of all our National Executive Officers, Committee Members, our beloved Constituents and all Ghanaian students, that any demonic programming, programmed in the womb of time, which is time sensitive to turn your glory into shame , we command it to backfire in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ the son of our Living God.

Stay blessed and a Merry Christmas to you once again.

PRESS STATEMENT

For Immediate Release

UNIVERSITY STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION OF GHANA (USAG) CELEBRATES HIS EXCELLENCY JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA.

The entire leadership and constituents of the University Students' Association of Ghana celebrates the Head of the first family in Ghana, President John Dramani Mahama on such a momentous, ecstatic and joyous day in his life.

Mr President, as you enjoy your birthday, we pray for the insatiable, irresistible and unabated favour, strength, grace and protection of the Almighty God to superimpose and dominate everything you do for the indelible betterment of Ghana, family and yourself.

His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, it's quite unfortunate that we could not join the celebration party as National Officers of USAG to wish you well in person and also enjoy the presidential cake.

So Mr President, our humble plea to you as you enjoy your extraordinary day is to use your executive office to pardon all university communities in Ghana from the cancerous load shedding "dumsor" which has engulfed and bedevilled the progressive road map of our motherland Ghana.

As an official mouthpiece of all universities in Ghana, our constituents have consistently filed unquantifiable number of complains to us about erratic supply of electricity even in this delicate moment of examination which may have a humongous negative effect on our results in going forward.

The Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, we again use this imperative opportunity to bring to your official notice that because of the pandemic dumsorisation which continues to cripple the progressive fortunes of our motherland Ghana, a particular course examination was cancelled because when students were writing the exam, dumsor unfortunately invaded and the examination officers had no other option than to cancel that particular paper because students could not proceed because of no lights in one of the leading universities in Ghana.

We finally plead with you, the First Gentleman of our motherland Ghana to use your high and executive office to safeguard and spare all university communities from such perilous situations especially in the examination moments to foster a deserving educational growth if we all believe Education is the major key to National Development.

We join the thousands and millions of Ghanaians, Africans and the entire world to celebrate His Excellency John Dramani Mahama on his birthday, 29th of November, 2015.
                God bless you.

Long Live the President of Ghana

UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION OF GHANA (USAG) EXTENDS WELL WISHES TO IT'S CONSTITUENTS.

We bring you executive greetings from the National Secretariat of the University Students’ Association of Ghana (USAG).

As students get academically and intellectually armed, poised and ready for their first semester examination, we plead for unmerited favours, mercies and grace from the throne room of Heaven for you all.

May you be overwhelmed with sharp retentiveness to soberly deliver with total unambiguity, unequivocacy and in a more explicit manner for positive results (flying colours).

May Jehovah apprehend, arrest and abort any molecule of fear, timidity and intimidation that may grip your concentration.

You are already a winner and a victor, so continue occupying hearts and minds for God and country.

Stay blessed and deliver with ease in the examination room for the Good God is with you.

God bless us all.

ALL THE BEST !

PRESS STATEMENT BY THE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ASSOCIATION OF GHANA ON THIS DAY 10/10/2015

The National President  delivering
 His acceptance Speech.

The leadership of the University Students Association of Ghana are glad to humbly meet the Press this day as we have been out-doored by the immediate past Spokesperson of USAG.

First and foremost, as leaders of this great Union, our core mandate is to serve the interest of students and not political parties. Therefore, in as much as the nation is preparing for the upcoming 2016 elections, we (USAG) are calling for peaceful elections. The National Democratic Congress are promising free education likewise the New Patriotic Party. The question is where are all these people (youth) going to work after the beautiful free education? We are therefore appealing to the government to also consider creating more jobs for the youth to curb the high rate of unemployment in the country.

Moreover, we envision that USAG will be the most vibrant student association within and beyond the borders of this country through effective advocacy and the provision of a proactive, dynamic, pragmatic and deserving leadership that will instill confidence in the student’s front.
